A Welcome from Karen and Ian

Karen and Ian Needham acquired the Catering Franchise at Ross on Wye Golf Club on 1st November 2009, after re-locating from Portugal, where they were running a small Guest House for almost a year. Unfortunately, the Children, Jonathon and Laura found it hard to settle. However, they were fortunate to find Ross on Wye Golf Club, and have all settled down to life back in the U.K.

Ian started Golf Club life when he undertook to build a course in Leicester  in 1991 and ultimately became Golf Centre Manager until he left in October 2008.

Karen started her Golf Club life in 1987, at Nuneaton Golf Club, where along with her Mum Val she was responsible for the Catering. In 1989, they moved to Hearsall Golf Club in Coventry. With a desire to move south the family moved to Goodwood GC and then to Cuddington Golf Club in Surrey. Karen then moved back to her original golf club in Nuneaton, in 2000. In 2002 Karen took over the catering at Beedles Lake Golf Centre, where she met Ian, and in 2006 they were married.

Karen and Ian are now starting to make plans for the New Year, when they will be starting their A la Carte Menu on Friday and Saturday evenings, and hope to introduce a Fish Supper or Curry Evening (Golf Club Diary permitting)

Ian and Karen will be happy to help with any catering requirements, and you can always be assured of a friendly reception.
