Ross on Wye Golf Club

Societies

Weclome

Society Days are very popular at Ross-on-Wye - thanks in part to the playability of this beautiful course in all conditions - and because of its proximity to the Midlands, the South West and South Wales via the M50.

The club professional, Paul Middleton, and his staff - together with the club administrator - are waiting to help ensure that your day at Ross-On-Wye Golf Club is a complete success. They will be happy to advise you on the arrangements to assist with score cards etc. and prizes for your competitors may be purchased from our professional's shop.

Competitions

Ross-on-Wye Golf Club is not a Golf Club for beginners. We do expect that all your players hold an official handicap, can play a reasonable standard and will not hold up any play. We recommend that Stableford Competitions be the format for the day. Each player must have his own set of Clubs, proper golf shoes and is expected to know and carry out the normal etiquette of golf.

Society Days

Society Days can be booked on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. When a suitable day has been agreed for your event, we shall ask you to complete a brief Booking Form to confirm the date and arrangements and the green fees and other costs that are agreed. A deposit is also requested and confirmation of numbers are required at least 72 hours before the event for catering purposes and green fee numbers.

Your reserved tee times and meal times are pre-arranged and therefore it is essential that these are strictly adhered to. You will be notified of these times in your final confirmation of booking.

Catering

Our caterer is able to provide a full range of catering requirements throughout the day from 9.00 am through to Evening Dinner. We have a wide range of menus and basically it is possible for a visiting Society to choose its own menus for lunch and dinner, be they cold buffets, snacks or full three course meal. Coffee can be available on arrival in the morning and the arrangements are tailored to suit your requirements. Sample menus for the day can be sent by post or emailed to you, please contact Sarah Creighton the Club Administrator.
