The Ross-on-Wye Golf Club
The Course

Ross is a woodland course carved out of an oak and silver birch forest and standing on the 1st or 10th tee it is hard to believe that this excellent layout has only been in existence for 40 years. Its tree lined, undulating fairways and small well contoured greens test all golfer's repertoire of shots. Ross is a course that demands strategy, creativity and most of all patience as well as that elusive golf talent to hit a ball consistently straight.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is situated with excellent aspects from the balcony of the ninth and eighteenth greens. It is well appointed and comfortable with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The steward provides excellent bar snacks throughout the day and more complete meals by arrangement.
The Professional Team

Our professional, Paul Middleton, sells a wide range of clubs, equipment and clothes from a well stocked shop which is adjacent to the first tee. Paul and his assistant professional, Katie Edwards, and shop staff always provide a warm welcome and a courteous and efficient service.
Teaching Academy
The professional and assistant professional provide golf lessons throughout the year using the latest computerised video technology to compare your swing with Tiger woods, et al. The junior academy continues to be developed
Practice Facilities
Ross has good practice facilities with putting, chipping and pitching facilities close to the club house. A driving range some 50 yards from the clubhouse provides golfers with the opportunity to practice the long game.
