Having consulted with the Greens Committee, Club professional and Course Manager the Executive Committee has approved the following policy.
In this policy ‘the course’ includes the practice green and short game practice area. The purpose of this policy is to:
Buggy (this includes both hire and personal ride-on) and trolley use in winter months may be reduced
in stages, to avoid damage to the course and risk to course users.
Winter wheels whilst not mandatory are encouraged – ‘hedgehog’ wheels are not permitted at any time.
During wet conditions care should be taken to select a route that avoids causing damage or risking
safety.
Unless stated, No Restrictions, apply.
Stage 1 – ALL BUGGY & ELECTRIC TROLLEY USE IS PERMITTED.
Stage 2 – Hire buggy use not allowed. Personal ride-on buggies allowed (except on holes 17 and 18 where such buggy use is prohibited) and must at all times remain on pathways where provided. ALL ELECTRIC & PUSH/PULL Trolleys are permitted.
Stage 3 – No HIRE OR RIDE ON buggies allowed. ELECTRIC and push/pull trolleys ARE permitted and must at all times remain on pathways where provided.
Stage 4 – Carry only
NO BUGGIES OR TROLLEYS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE ROPES. (PARK UP 90 DEGREES FROM YOUR GOLF BALL & WALK TO BALL) APPLIES ON PATHWAYS DURING THE WINTER MONTHS (OCTOBER THROUGH TO MARCH).
THIS WILL BE COMMUNICATED ON THE DAILY UPDATE WHEN NECESSARY.
All golfers must comply with signage, barriers and traffic management instructions at all times – these are in place for the safety of all course users.
Buggies and Trolleys are not permitted on tees at any time of the year
