How We Do Things

On Arrival

Please report to the professional shop to sign in and pay for all green fees. The professional team will be your point of contact for the day and can provide any assistance you need.

Handicaps

Our team may ask for proof of handicap before play. In the interests of all members and visitors, we do try to keep a brisk pace of play at all times. We also adopt the R&A’s Ready Golf term that allows a golfer to play when they’re ready, as long as they are doing so in a safe manner.

Dress Code

Smart golfing attire is essential and golf shoes must be worn. Shorts must be tailored and worn with appropriate sports socks.

When off-course, members, their guests and visitors are encouraged to change after playing. We ask that you wear smart/casual wear; smart denim is acceptable (although not ripped or torn).

Not permitted at ROWGC:

Shorts with external pockets
Training shoes on the golf course
Hats in the clubhouse
Rubber or plastic flip flops
Wet and/or muddy clothing are not permitted in the Clubhouse
Golf shoes are also not permitted in the Clubhouse
