Junior Coaching

The Tim Hall School Of Golf offers a variety of coaching available to Juniors ranging from beginners to advanced players. Every weekend we have beginner coaching on Saturdays and Sundays that are designed to introduce the game of golf to the children and look to progress their learning through the Junior Passport from The Golf Foundation. The passport involves everything related to golf from the game itself to the preparation to play, etiquette and life skills.

For the more advanced Junior golfer, we have our development squad coaching which looks to push the pupil through a more challenging program that will eventually see them into the Junior Team and representing the golf club.

The culmination of the Junior coaching is the Junior Team that currently plays in the North Gloucester Golf League and enjoy team coaching sessions with The THSG. Within these sessions the players focus on specific areas they are looking to improve and take the time in the sessions to further their games and experience of being part of a team.

Throughout the year there are many competitions that the Juniors can enter as we look to build up their competitive golf experience because that is when it counts and why it is so important to have as many competitions as we can. Details of which will be posted online throughout the year.

Throughout the winter we are running a Junior Winter League which allows the Juniors to partake in a coaching session followed by a 9 hole stableford competition. This offers the Juniors a chance to play amongst themselves and enjoy a friendly but competitive game. The league itself runs on the last Sunday of every month.

Golf League

The North Gloucester Golf League involves other clubs within the area and matches are played both home and away with the teams competing in a league format with the winners going on to face other league winners. The league matches offers the chance for junior golfers to showcase their talent and also pick up valuable experience for golf matches in the future.
